Francesca De Caprio is associate professor of Modern History at the Department of Humanities, Digital Communication and Tourism (DISUCOM) of the University of Tuscia (Viterbo). 

She is the director of the first level degree course in Humanities (L10) 

È Presidente del corso di Laure in Scienze Umanistiche/Lettere L10 (DISUCOM) and her research focuses on the topic of Travel Culture from XVI to XVIII century. Her most recent publications concern women travellers and the rituals and royal ceremonies of the European Queens of the XVII century (Maria Ludovica Gonzaga Nevers, Cristina di Svezia, Maria Casimira Sobieska).
