Sergio Marín Conejo holds a PhD in Philology by the University of Seville after completing the official master’s degree in Gender Studies and Professional Development. His doctoral thesis, awarded cum laude with international honours, was entitled “Language and gender: approaches from a theoretical framework”. He has published more than 20 book chapters and he belongs to the research group SEJ-495 “Critical Thinking, Communication and Human Rights”, and closely collaborates with his previous group HUM-753 “Women Writers and Writings”. As a lecturer, he has taught courses “International Relations”, “Multiculturalism and education in a globalised world”, “Spanish Diversity and Pluralities” and “Social Movements: a world of protests” for students from the USA, Australia and South Korea. He currently offers his services at the Faculty of Philology at University of Seville.
