Francesca De Caprio was born in Rome on 13 January 1974. She is Associate Professor of Central History (M-STO / 02) she teaches courses in History of Central Europe and History of travel and travellers in the modern age at the Department of Humanities, Communication and Tourism (DISUCOM) of the University of Tuscia (Viterbo). He collaborates in the research activities of the National Institute of Roman Studies, where he lectures and lectures in advanced courses. Ordinary member and secretary of CESPOM (Center for Studies on the Age of Sobieski and Modern Poland). Ordinary Member of CIRIV (Interdepartmental Center for Travel Research). Corresponding member of the Istituto Nazionale di Studi Romani she is a member of the scientific committee of the journal «Annali del Lazio Sud».
